SAE 100R11 hydraulic hose for water and petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. It is constructed of an inner tube of oil-resistant synthetic rubber, 6 spiral plies of heavy wire wrapped in alternating directions, and an oil/weather-resistant synthetic rubber cover. A braid or ply of suitable material may be used over the inner tube and/or over the wire reinforcement to bind the synthetic rubber to the wire.
